Templar's Community Association Official Page
The Templar's Community Association is a voluntary group that represents the interests of the People of the Templar's Estate in Witham. Founded over 40 years ago, our aim is to make sure that the people of Templar's live in a happy, safe, well maintained environment. We pride ourselves on the good work we have done and helping to create a community spirit.
About
The Templar’s Community Association was founded in 1984. Founding members were Stella Tilson, Frank Joy, June Richardson, Roy Popper, Brian Fribbens, Jean Drake and Frank Moffat. They arranged events from Cockney nights, to trips to the panto for the kids.
The association has always worked hard with different people on the estate pitching in to help with campaigns such a getting a decent play area and basketball court for the kids, having our own litter pickers (the only estate to have this agreement in place with BDC) keeping the lights on at night to feel safe (the only estate that has this in the area).
